Local Ministry Partners

Our community outreach partners are local non-profit organizations that Connect serves 


Cabarrus Women’s Center provides a safe place for women with unplanned pregnancies to talk with someone regarding their situation and discuss options for the pregnancy. Consultations are free and confidential. Volunteer medical professionals and prayer intercessors are needed. Donations of new baby items are appreciated. The mission of CCM is to provide immediate assistance to members of our community who are experiencing crisis in the areas of food, shelter, or finances while engaging them in a series of actions that will empower them to move beyond crisis. For more information about all the services Cooperative Christian Ministry offers:  www.cooperativeministry.com

  • MY FATHER’S HOUSE (HOUSING MINISTRY OF CCM) My Father’s House provides an interim solution for families facing homelessness. Each family has a private room and the case management they need to get back on their feet. Connect commits to 3 nights every 3 months. If you would like to provide dinner please contact Kris Edscorn
  • MOTHER & CHILDREN’S HOUSE (HOUSING MINISTRY OF CCM) This CCM program helps moms and their young children who would otherwise be homeless. The facility holds 5 families. If you would like to provide a meal or interact with the kids contact Pam Smith at 704.918.1484 or
  • PROJECT INDEPENDENCE (Housing Ministry of Cooperative Christian Ministry) This Cooperative Christian Ministry program helps families in a housing crisis to regain stability and reestablish independence in their lives. They start by providing them an affordable place to live. Families are helped through case management and classes to identify the cause of their homelessness, and develop the disciplines needed to sustain themselves in a home. Cooperative Christian Ministry has over 20 homes for families. Cooperative Christian Ministry frequently need repairs, yard work, furniture, etc and Connect has sent groups to help. If you would like to serve in this area, call 704-706-9051.


Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County, is non-profit Christian housing ministry. It's focus is to provide a better place for local families to live and grow. To volunteer contact Kippi Laws,


The staff and volunteers minister to the needs of the homeless and those needing employment. The Opportunity House has a computer lab, clothes closet and offer Bible studies, and breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Redefining love, one day at a time.... Present Age Ministries is a nonprofit organization committed to combating sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking of teen girls, with a focus on awareness and residential housing.
